At the end of each semester, if you are no longer enrolled at RPI as a student, it is your responsibility to notify your banks, credit card providers, and other organizations of your change of address to ensure the delivery of time-sensitive material to be sent to your new address change - prior to leaving the campus - at the end of the semester.
All (on-campus residence) RPI students will receive forwarding service for all of their First-Class Mail® and packages sent via the U.S. Postal Service, during the summer months. Letters and packages from private carriers (i.e. FedEx®, UPS®, and DHL®) can NOT be sent to another address by the Student Mail Center and will be returned to the sender.
Graduating students and students not returning to Rensselaer:
Graduating students can have the Rensselaer Student Mail Center forward their First-Class Mail® for 3 months. September 1st is the last day any graduating student will continue to have this service.
(Notify any sender of your new address in order to receive correspondence in a timely fashion.)
The U.S.P.S.® will NOT process the "Change of Address" forms from RPI. Any form that was submitted will be automatically rejected.
The U.S. Postal Service may take up to five (5) weeks to deliver forwarded mail.
