How do I drive from one campus to the other?

Rensselaer's campus in Hartford, Connecticut is nearly 118 miles from the campus in Troy, New York. The drive, one way, normally takes about two hours.

To drive to RPI's Troy campus from the campus in Hartford, head north on I-84 to the Massachusetts Turnpike/I-90. Go west on the Mass Turnpike/I-90 (portions toll) through and past the Berkshire Mountains until arriving at the Hudson River. After crossing this historic river, drive north on I-787. Troy is only a few miles up the river.

For detailed directions, please see Google Maps, Mapquest or Yahoo Local Maps.

Once you reach Troy, you will need details on finding the RPI Troy campus.

Traveling in the other direction will, of course, take you from the Troy campus to the Hartford campus. Consult Google Maps, Mapquest, or Yahoo for details.
